Who it’s for

Students (18 years and older) who enjoy being the client’s first point of contact of a fast-paced, team-oriented organization. These individuals can implement a variety of transferable skills (i.e. communication) to provide outstanding customers service to new and repeat clients.

What you’ll learn

You will be equipped with the transferable skills required for front-line employment in multiple industry-sectors. You will also have the opportunity to receive the following industry recognized certificates throughout the program:

  • Emergency Frist Aid Level C and Level 1 AED
  • Winnipeg Ambassador
  • Handling Difficult Situations
  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials and Information Systems)

Your career

You will have the tools and techniques to provide excellent customer service as required when interacting with clients in today’s workplace. This will be achieved by providing workplace essential courses, ‘bridge to employment’ practicum, technical courses (Microsoft Office Specialist course and social media workshops)

Through occupational-specific courses (Client Services, Sales and Retail, and Event Coordinator), you will gain the skills to take your career in a variety of directions, depending where your interests lie.
