Medical Assistant and Patient Care

What you’ll learn

Through hands-on learning in our patient care simulation lab and four practicums (long-term care, acute care, medical assistant, and health unit clerk), you will gain a blend of patient care and medical office skills that will prepare you for diverse employment opportunities in the health care field. Courses focus on clinical, medical technology, and administrative skills to enhance your medical knowledge, critical thinking, human relations, and organizational abilities.
