What you’ll learn

Using content from top vendors like AWS, Cisco, Splunk, Microsoft, EC-Council, CompTIA, Fortinet, and Hack The Box, you will learn network security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, incident response, threat intelligence, and more. Learn in MITT’s fully operational Security Operations Centre, where you will build critical thinking and troubleshooting skills using production-grade SOC analyst tools and ticketing system. Expand your learning with a 14-week work practicum with a local employer.

Admission requirements

  • Manitoba high school diploma
  • Grade 12 Applied or Pre-Calculus Mathematics (40S)* or equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent
  • Grade 12 English Language Arts (40S)* or equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent
  • An additional senior academic level course* with a minimum of 60 per cent

*minimum grade of 70% average across the three courses noted above

*Applicants who do not have Applied or Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S, but who do have a minimum grade of 60 per cent in Essential Mathematics 40S (or an equivalent senior level mathematics course) will be provided with the option to write the Technology Programs Aptitude Test (TPAT). Applicants who achieve a minimum score of 55 per cent on the Technology Programs Aptitude Test (TPAT) may use this for admission in place of Applied or Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S.
