Network and Systems Administrator Diploma (starting Fall 2025)

Who it’s for

You’re curious about servers, systems and networks. A critical thinker, you like to keep up with the latest technologies, troubleshoot problems and come up with solutions on the fly. You’re comfortable with computers and systems—and can effectively communicate with others about them.

What you’ll learn

Become familiar with how to set up, manage, and troubleshoot networks and core services. Learn hands on—on premise or remotely—in MITT’s modern network lab infrastructure, with up-to-date equipment and private cloud.

Admission requirements

  • Manitoba high school diploma
  • Grade 12 Applied or Pre-Calculus Math (40S)* or equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent
  • Grade 12 English Language Arts (40S)* or equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent
  • An additional senior academic level course* with a minimum of 60 per cent
  • Demonstrated English Language Proficiency (if applicable)
  • Basic computer skills proficiency

*minimum grade of 70% average across the three courses noted above

Applicants who do not have Applied or Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S, but who do have a minimum grade of 60 per cent in Essential Mathematics 40S (or an equivalent senior level mathematics course) will be provided with the option to write the Technology Programs Aptitude Test (TPAT). Applicants who achieve a minimum score of 55 per cent on the Technology Programs Aptitude Test (TPAT) may use this for admission in place of Applied or Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S.
