You like using your hands and mind, are creative, precise, and not afraid to get dirty. You’re good at trade-related math and geometry. You can think on your feet, and with your positive, get-it-done attitude, you work well alone or as part of a team.
You’ll learn all the main welding processes and procedures and the theory behind them, as well as how to operate general fabrication equipment. You will also have the opportunity to earn Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) tickets during the program.

This program gives you the skills required to begin your first year of apprenticeship (Level 1). Find welding jobs in shop work, on construction sites, or in sectors such as welding robotics, metallurgy, and trade sales.
